At Rock Creek, we know that leadership begins with growing ourselves and this week was full of great examples of students and staff living out the 7 Habits! ๐
From Morning Meetings focused on conflict resolution and growth mindset, to 5th graders collaborating on challenging math problems, to staff leading the district in wellness with the Wellbeats Challenge... our community continues to shine as leaders in action! ๐ชโ๏ธ
As we approach Parent-Teacher Conferences, weโre reminded that leadership also means being open to growth and feedback. These short meetings are such an important time to celebrate the amazing success and uniqueness of every child and also to partner together on the next steps that help them become the very best version of themselves. ๐ฑโจ
Feedback can be tough at times, but itโs one of the most powerful tools for learning and improvement... for students, for staff, and for all of us! I always encourage our team to provide that honest, caring feedback, because thatโs how we continue to make Rock Creek the BEST place to learn and grow. ๐
Thank you, families, for your partnership and for supporting your children at home, encouraging responsibility, and having those open conversations that build confidence and character. Together, we are raising leaders for life! ๐
